Sappiamo che la musica ci nutre, è in grado di parlare all’anima. Ma può davvero raggiungere i nostri nervi, la mente, la parte più profonda e inconscia di noi? È davvero in grado di risvegliare le persone dal coma? Può essere mezzo di comunicazione per chi non ha l’uso della parola? Può aiutare a recuperare la memoria? Può, insomma, dare risposta a certe patologie?
Parliamo, in particolare, di problemi come depressione, bipolarità, disturbi della personalità, fobie, panico, insicurezza, parliamo di disagio in qualsiasi forma esso si manifesti. Problematiche classificate come patologie della mente, che sembrano purtroppo sempre più diffuse.

Un viaggio, un’esperienza, una riflessione sul tempo per essere protagonisti del presente, per cogliere quanto di meglio è già stato vissuto e gettare quindi le basi di un futuro fondato sulla consapevolezza. Un progetto artistico e ancor prima umano, proposto in anteprima in occasione del trentennale di Cartoon Club, che vede svilupparsi, grazie a un dialogo virtuoso tra linguaggi, esperienze e generazioni diverse, un percorso inedito. Filo conduttore del progetto è il libro scritto a quattro mani da Christine Joan Johnson e Annibale Snelli “I Viaggiatori del Tempo”. Protagonisti: gli stessi autori, tanti giovani artisti, nomi noti del panorama dell’arte e gli stessi visitatori.

Non importa ciò che indossiamo, ciò che costruiamo o creiamo in questo mondo… che giorno perfetto è se non riusciamo ad amarci uni gli altri? La schiavitù non è solo una storia orribile che ci arriva dal passato… al contrario.
Uno è schiavo quando vive solo per il denaro. Uno è schiavo quando si è dipendente dal sesso, dalla droga, dal cibo, dalla moda. Uno è schiavo se si lascia incatenare dai pregiudizi e dalla paura.
Dobbiamo cercare la conoscenza prima del successo, dobbiamo imparare ad amare. Conoscere e amare se stessi, gli altri, il mondo che ci circonda.
Il musical è uno spaccato di vita metropolitana, una finestra sui pensieri che cercano una via per uscire dalla “gabbia” della nostra mente, dei limiti che ci figuriamo, un racconto fatto di canzoni, danza e parole, parole che rimarrebbero incomprensibili se non ci fosse il potere della musica di superare tutte le barriere.
Tante “facce” della stessa medaglia, un dialogo che porta alla conclusione comune che c’è sempre una scelta. Un crescendo di ritmo, un cuore che pulsa sempre più forte fino a far scoppiare un solo grido, una sola festa, una sola esortazione: think out of the box!

MEANDMYCITY is a captivating educational project aimed at people of all ages, with particular attention to young individuals between the ages of 15 and 30. In this experience, participants immerse themselves in a philosophy of innovation, observing their own city from various perspectives: professionals, consumers, and active citizens. The goal is to deepen the understanding of community functioning and social dynamics
This dynamic concept goes beyond, immersing itself in Italy’s most refined villages. Here, the secrets and culinary traditions passed down from generation to generation are rediscovered. People are at the heart of this experience, and each village has its unique story to tell. An example of this diversity could be the passion for a traditional dish, the craftsmanship of a local artisan, or the warm welcome from a village resident.
MEANDMYCITY is a journey that transcends typical tourist guides—an opportunity to connect with the cultural and human roots of these places. It’s an invitation to discover, savor, and appreciate the richness of every Italian village.
This innovative format aims to promote well-being and represents a journey within and beyond ourselves. Love and determination serve as reminders to seek unconditional love if we want to live in peace.
FIRST VOLUME
The first volume of MEANDMYCITY is Il Bene Nel Male (Good in the Bad) that has been accomplished, and the project “CUCITO addosso Michele Luzi” (stitched onto Michael) who is co-authored and founded alongside me. Michael, a young man born and raised in Urbania, was the protagonist of our first announcement experience. Through his life of trials and challenges, we intend to promote a message of love and respect for what often escapes everyone’s eyes. When we have the will to take risks, everything becomes possible—even miracles—when we courageously embark on a journey of self-discovery.
The Soul Gospel Show
The Preacher and His Wife is a moving story about love, conflict, friendships, determination, and the struggle for eternal love in today’s society versus a virtual world.
JNR, lead actor, husband, and pastor in this story is a born traditionalist. He is devoted to his wife and passion for Christ, he feels complete as a man and as a shepherd. He sees nothing wrong with being a pastor in a small church singing and preaching Eternal Love.
Instead, his wife declares the opposite … she’s an ambitious woman in search of spiritual growth but even more enthusiastic about her own success. Which doesn’t mean she’s right and he’s wrong … because the only thing she dreams of is a crowded church with a big gospel choir. Just like the ones in Harlem. Quite the opposite of her husband’s dreams, satisfied and in love with the intimate feelings received from his friends, who happily attended his church.
And so, their battle centered on this one huge point of view: “devoted believers versus fame”.
Another very important topic discussed in this comedy is the Internet! The virtual reality that JNR firmly believes is slowly killing us, but it’s just the lack of information and experience of him. His wife, on the other hand, believes that it is the only reality worth working for, and therefore it is obvious that he should change and follow the systems and learn to speak the language of the Internet.
The next morning, Sherrita organized a “casting day”, as she would call it, right at the church. A total surprise for the priest, who he considered a “miracle”, when he that day he arrived at the church, finding it full of people.
