Sappiamo che la musica ci nutre, è in grado di parlare all’anima. Ma può davvero raggiungere i nostri nervi, la mente, la parte più profonda e inconscia di noi? È davvero in grado di risvegliare le persone dal coma? Può essere mezzo di comunicazione per chi non ha l’uso della parola? Può aiutare a recuperare la memoria? Può, insomma, dare risposta a certe patologie?
Parliamo, in particolare, di problemi come depressione, bipolarità, disturbi della personalità, fobie, panico, insicurezza, parliamo di disagio in qualsiasi forma esso si manifesti. Problematiche classificate come patologie della mente, che sembrano purtroppo sempre più diffuse.

Un viaggio, un’esperienza, una riflessione sul tempo per essere protagonisti del presente, per cogliere quanto di meglio è già stato vissuto e gettare quindi le basi di un futuro fondato sulla consapevolezza. Un progetto artistico e ancor prima umano, proposto in anteprima in occasione del trentennale di Cartoon Club, che vede svilupparsi, grazie a un dialogo virtuoso tra linguaggi, esperienze e generazioni diverse, un percorso inedito. Filo conduttore del progetto è il libro scritto a quattro mani da Christine Joan Johnson e Annibale Snelli “I Viaggiatori del Tempo”. Protagonisti: gli stessi autori, tanti giovani artisti, nomi noti del panorama dell’arte e gli stessi visitatori.

Non importa ciò che indossiamo, ciò che costruiamo o creiamo in questo mondo… che giorno perfetto è se non riusciamo ad amarci uni gli altri? La schiavitù non è solo una storia orribile che ci arriva dal passato… al contrario.
Uno è schiavo quando vive solo per il denaro. Uno è schiavo quando si è dipendente dal sesso, dalla droga, dal cibo, dalla moda. Uno è schiavo se si lascia incatenare dai pregiudizi e dalla paura.
Dobbiamo cercare la conoscenza prima del successo, dobbiamo imparare ad amare. Conoscere e amare se stessi, gli altri, il mondo che ci circonda.
Il musical è uno spaccato di vita metropolitana, una finestra sui pensieri che cercano una via per uscire dalla “gabbia” della nostra mente, dei limiti che ci figuriamo, un racconto fatto di canzoni, danza e parole, parole che rimarrebbero incomprensibili se non ci fosse il potere della musica di superare tutte le barriere.
Tante “facce” della stessa medaglia, un dialogo che porta alla conclusione comune che c’è sempre una scelta. Un crescendo di ritmo, un cuore che pulsa sempre più forte fino a far scoppiare un solo grido, una sola festa, una sola esortazione: think out of the box!

The Soul Gospel Show
The Preacher and His Wife is a moving story about love, conflict, friendships, determination, and the struggle for eternal love in today’s society versus a virtual world.
JNR, lead actor, husband, and pastor in this story is a born traditionalist. He is devoted to his wife and passion for Christ, he feels complete as a man and as a shepherd. He sees nothing wrong with being a pastor in a small church singing and preaching Eternal Love.
Instead, his wife declares the opposite … she’s an ambitious woman in search of spiritual growth but even more enthusiastic about her own success. Which doesn’t mean she’s right and he’s wrong … because the only thing she dreams of is a crowded church with a big gospel choir. Just like the ones in Harlem. Quite the opposite of her husband’s dreams, satisfied and in love with the intimate feelings received from his friends, who happily attended his church.
And so, their battle centered on this one huge point of view: “devoted believers versus fame”.
Another very important topic discussed in this comedy is the Internet! The virtual reality that JNR firmly believes is slowly killing us, but it’s just the lack of information and experience of him. His wife, on the other hand, believes that it is the only reality worth working for, and therefore it is obvious that he should change and follow the systems and learn to speak the language of the Internet.
The next morning, Sherrita organized a “casting day”, as she would call it, right at the church. A total surprise for the priest, who he considered a “miracle”, when he that day he arrived at the church, finding it full of people.

Un Pianoforte Nel Bosco (subtitled Piano In The Wood) is an inedited opera written, directed and composed By Christine Joan, orchestral arranged and directed by Stefano Nanni One of Italians most finest, pianist, composter and jazz orchestra director. The story is based on a cultural tear Jerking fairytale that speaks about the power of love, narrated by Pino Insegno, the most popular filmmaking voice in Italy. An outstanding cast was all it took to make this one magical cross-over opera a success.
Special guess appearance and recital live on piano Yutaka Nishimura. A very beautiful black Fairy Princesses, Performed by Sherrita Duran, Four charming castaway Elf’s, Choreographed by Arabesque Dance Center and Mr. Frederic Alyivi, all very excitingly curious with ambiguous minds were nominated the head of all the games to be expressed inside the castle. Frontrunner of the Elf’s, Ylenia “JAM” Mulazzani, was the missing ingredient.
Both her and the Piano shared the same spirit, the same life, but yet, so far away from the light of consciousness, almost like a big hidden secret spelled their sadness and confusion. Until one day something very amazing happens to the both of them, that changed their entire life.
The Opera was presented in the Italian theater Novelli, for the first time in the month of November 2011 along side with Ensemble Strumentale G. Lettimi di Rimini.

World Fashion Musical
World Fashion Musical is a winning two-act musical written and by Christine Joan; inspired by the love, for comics, animation, and fashion. The actors then interpret the roles of the protagonists of the cartoon and act wearing costumes representing different super hero. The musical, produced by JMP-Jamit music production.
Theatrical, contains music written by, among others, Christine Joan and Yliena Mullazzini, as well as several instrumentals composed by Luigi Gori, Andrea Gori, Andrea Felli and Christine team.
The show premiered at the Theater Novelli in Rimini (Italy) on July 19, 2009, during the 25th edition of the international Festival of Animation Cinema and Comics Cartoon Club, receiving incredible success.
What happens inside a MANNEQUINS boutique when the lights go out and it’s time to close? Reality wants everything to stay still until the next day. But in the theater, you know, anything can happen and even the rigid mannequins can suddenly come to life and show the audience their most hidden feelings. This is the idea from which “Finally the soul!”
The goal of this unique Fashion Format, is to tell a series of “fairly tales” through a musical key.
A highly original and innovative format, the one conceived by Christine Joan, wants to link itself to the glamorous world of appearance, to launch a deeper message – aimed in particular at the younger generation – full of life, love, and passion, with a careful look at dreams and magic, but also to the commitment and the search for conscious happiness.
It will thus be that Desirée, the protagonist, thanks to the help of Blue Eyes, and the other “superheroes”, will help her to find her truth in love and above all, to let herself be loved.
In this story with a romantic flavor but with a dense and high-impact content, the themes of Shakespearean “to be or not to be” will meet, alongside the all-modern ones of “to be or to appear”, seen through the gaze of those who still know be amazed by the world, by those who seek (and know how to find) the enchantment in everyday life.
World Fashion Musical also created the collaboration with the Onlus Citizenship Association (www.cittadinanza.org) which takes care of people with severe mental disorders who live in poverty in low-income countries is very important. Born in Rimini in 1999, it develops and supports psychiatric rehabilitation and psychosocial intervention projects in collaboration with the World Health Organization. 100 admission tickets were made available for the Citizenship Association.
